Tempest

Storm

Pulling at hair
Unfurling the seas
Stronger than tide
Felling away trees.

Coercing clouds into motion
Lifting the sands of time
Gallivanting across the globe
Humming an ancient rhyme.

Subject of folklore
I'm a truth you can't escape
Wild, fervent and impatient
The wrath of gods
I'm harsh reality
I'm the tempest, the gale
