I stood

I stood,
In the midst of chaos,
Cracking my head
Burning my musings
Lashing out
Waves pounced at my thoughts,
Attacked.
I stood unhurt,
On the isle of loneliness,
Dancing
To words of silent dreams
To rhythm of pain,
Not defeat.
I stood, stirred.

Hey! I know I’ve been gone for like two months or something. I’m sorry about that but I was stuck with my exams. Today, as I was going through my reader, I came across an awesome prompt.  Do check out the link.

Tell me what you thought about my poem and my art. Your feedback is always appreciated!

So long!

  2. Excellent… love the thought of standing there in the end… somehow I see a tree, bending in the storm but never breaking.

Loving the fine line blue ink. Everything is shaded really well. Composition is good. It’s a charming drawing! I also love the colors.

The poem is very nice, too.

    Thanks.
